Park Packing Co. sued after woman falls on premises

A woman is suing over claims she was injured on the wet floor of a butcher shop.

Marilyn Mullens filed a lawsuit Feb. 14 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Park Packing Co. citing premises liability.

According to the complaint, Mullens was on the premises of the retail and wholesale meat distributor on West 41st Street in Chicago on June 27, when she slipped on a wet patch on the floor and was injured.

She claims the defendant failed to provide a safe premises for customers.

Mullens is seeking more than $30,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorney Michael F. Conway of Conway Law Office P.C.
