Whole Foods sued in trip and fall lawsuit

A woman is suing Whole Foods after she tripped and fell on a wooden pallet in a walkway.

Marian Rohde filed a lawsuit Feb. 19 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Whole Foods Market Group Inc., doing business as Whole Foods Market, citing premises liability.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 6, Rohde was shopping at Whole Foods, 840 Willow Road, Northbrook, when she tripped on a wooden pallet that was jutting out past the merchandise and fell to the floor, causing injuries.

Rohde is seeking damages in excess of $50,000. She is being represented in the case by attorney Mark Brown of Lane & Lane LLC.
