Franklin Park bar named in dram shop suit

A man is suing, claiming he was injured on the premises of a Franklin Park restaurant.

Danny Snyder filed a lawsuit Feb. 28 in the Cook County Circuit Court against The Underpass Restaurant & Lounge Inc., Anthony Santucci and Park National Bank, as trustee UTA Trust No. 32390 dated June 5, 2007, citing the Dram Shop Act.

According to the complaint, Snyder was at The Underpass on Grand Avenue in Franklin Park on March 17, 2013 when intoxicated patrons or security personnel struck the him, causing injury and hospitalization.

He claims the defendants negligently served alcohol to the people who assaulted him.

Snyder is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorney Warren E. Abrahamson of Sandman, Levy & Petrich.
