A woman is suing over claims she was injured on the premises of a Hilton hotel.

Dorothy Papachristos filed a lawsuit March 7 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Hilton Worldwide Inc. and Hilton Chicago Corp., citing premises liability.

According to the complaint, Papachristos, who uses a walker and cane to walk, was attending a conference at the Hilton Hotel on South Michigan Avenue on April 15, 2012, when she slipped on a wet patch of carpet and fell, causing injury.

Papachristos is being represented in the case by attorney Warren E. Abrahamson of Sandman, Levy and Petrich.
