115 Bourbon Street nightclub sued by woman who claims drunk patrons struck her

A woman is suing over claims she was injured by an intoxicated patron at a Merrionette Park nightclub.

Michelle Dolac filed a lawsuit March 14 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Vpen Inc., doing business as 115 Bourbon Street, Jason Janke and Glenn Devries, citing negligence and the Illinois Dram Shop Act.

The complaint states Dolac was on the defendant's premises at 3359 W. 115th St. in Merrionette Park on March 17, 2013, when intoxicated patrons violently collided with the plaintiff, causing injuries. Dolac claims Janke and Devries struck her.

She is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by Benjamin B. Kelly of Vrdolyak Law Group LLC.
