Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center named in slip and fall suit

A woman is suing a Chicago medical center, claiming she was injured on its premises after slipping on water left on the floor.

Linda Reyes filed a lawsuit March 14 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Presence of Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center, formerly known as Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center, citing premises liability.

According to the complaint, Reyes was injured on March 16, 2012, when she slipped on water on the floor of the center on West Addison Street in Chicago.

Reyes is seeking more than $30,000 in damages and the cost of suit. She is being represented in the case by attorney Andrew J. Fink of Manuel Solis Law Firm P.C.
