CTA faces suit over Blue Line incident at O'Hare station

A woman on board the Blue Line train that jumped the track last month has sued the the city's transit authority.

Dalila Jefferson filed a lawsuit March 25 in the Cook County Circuit Court against the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), citing negligence.

According to the complaint, Jefferson was on-board a CTA Blue Line train on March 24, when it derailed at the O'Hare International Airport station, causing her injuries.

Jefferson is seeking damages in excess of the jurisdictional minimum and is being represented in the case by attorney Matthew T. Jenkins of Corboy & Demetrio P.C.
