Hostess delivery man sues Dominick's over injury

A McHenry County man is suing over claims he was injured while delivering Hostess products to a since-closed grocery store.

Rudy Kosanovich filed a lawsuit March 13 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Safeway Inc. and Dominick's Finer Foods LLC, Dominick's Supermarkets LLC and Dominick's Finer Foods Inc. of Illinois, citing premises liability.

According to the complaint, Kosanovich was making a delivery in the loading dock area at Dominick's on South Cumberland Avenue in Park Ridge as an employee of Hostess Brands Inc. on Aug. 16, 2012, when he tripped on a hole in the concrete and was injured.

Kosanovich is seeking damages in excess of the jurisdictional limit and is being represented by attorney Ryan A. Margulis of Seidman Margulis & Fairman LLP.
