Woman sues after stepping on cracked pavement

A woman is suing over claims she was injured after stepping on cracked payment in a parking lot.

Daniela Ribagina filed a lawsuit March 21 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Chicago Title Land Trust Co., as trustee under trust agreement dated May 29, 1968 and known as trust number 17810, and Gladstone Group Inc., citing negligence.

The complaint states Ribagina was at a parking lot the defendants maintained at 2650-2670 American Lane in Elk Grove Village on Feb. 19, 2012, when she stepped on cracked pavement and sustained injuries.

Ribagina is seeking more than $50,000 in damages. She is being represented in the case by Peter A. Zneimer of Zneimer & Zneimer P.C.
