Henry

A woman is suing a Chicago nursing home over claims her mother suffered injuries there that led to her death.

Wanda Rosado, as independent administrator of the Estate of Margarita Sanchez, filed a lawsuit March 28 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Woodbridge Nursing Pavilion Ltd., doing business as Woodbridge Nursing Pavilion, citing wrongful death.

According to the complaint, Margarita Sanchez became a resident at Woodbridge Nursing Pavilion in Chicago in March 2012. Rosado claims her mother suffered numerous falls and developed pressure ulcers that led to the deterioration of her mental and physical health condition, ultimately leading to her death on May 3, 2013.

Rosado is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorney Matthew K. Henry of Law Offices of Steven J. Malman.
