The city's transit authority is facing another lawsuit over last month's Blue Line incident at the O'Hare Airport station.

Elizabeth Carver filed a lawsuit April 3 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Chicago Transit Authority, citing negligence.

According to the complaint, Carver was a passenger on the CTA's Blue Line train on March 24, when the train jumped the tracks at the O'Hare Airport station. She claims the CTA's negligence caused her injury.

Carver is seeking more than $50,000 in damages. She is being represented in the case by attorneys Robert A. Clifford and Kevin P. Durkin of Clifford Law Offices.
