Owner of Chicago trucking company sued for battery

An independent contractor is suing the owner of a Chicago-based trucking company he claims battered him

Gregory Raymond Clanton filed a lawsuit March 25 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Michael A. Tadin, citing battery and iOKntentional infliction of emotional distress.

The complaint states Clanton was lawfully on the property of Tadin's company, Marina Cartage, on June 14, when Tadin committed a battery upon him.

Clanton is seeking more than $50,000 in damages, plus costs, and is being represented in the case by Ryan T. McNulty of Schiff Gorman LLC.
