The owners of a condominium located near Chicago's Gold Coast are suing over claims flooding and significant damage were caused by their neighbors' negligence.
Arjun and Anu Aggarwal filed a lawsuit April 2 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Christian Zellner and Andrea Smith, citing negligence.
The Aggarwals claim that Zellner and Smith failed to maintain the bathtub or piping in their unit at 159 East Walton Place in Chicago, which caused their neighboring unit to flood and sustain damages.
They are seeking more than $30,000 in damages. They are being represented in the case by attorney John J. Conway of Sullivan Hincks & Conway.
