A man is suing over allegations he was injured at a Marshalls store in Oak Lawn.
Timothy Darling filed a lawsuit April 10 in the Cook County Circuit Court against The TJX Companies Inc. and Marmaxx Group, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Darling was at the Marshalls on South Cicero Avenue in Oak Lawn, which is owned by the defendants, on April 18, 2012, when the store's roller system failed, causing him to move to catch the product and injure himself.
Darling is seeking more than $50,000 in damages. He is being represented in the case by attorney Benjamin B. Kelly of The Vrdolyak Law Group LLC.
