Mother sues Kindercare over claims her child was molested by another child

A woman is suing a suburban daycare center over claims a child sexually touched her child while at the facility.

Of behalf of her minor child, Nafari Willis filed a lawsuit April 11 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Kindercare Learning Centers LLC, citing premises liability.

According to the complaint, Willis' child was assaulted, battered and sexually touched by another child on July 9 while at the daycare facility in Lombard. Willis claims the defendant had knowledge about the danger and behavior of the child she alleges molested her child.

Willis is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorney Jeffrey S. Deutschman of Deutschman & Associates P.C.
