A Cook County woman is suing after falling while walking around rental property, sustaining injuries.

Bonnie Rawitz filed a lawsuit April 11 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Carina Holdings LLC, Rob D. Abrams Real Estate, Silver Property Group Ltd., and Ron D. Abrams and Jeffrey A. Dumas, both individually and as agents of the defendant companies, citing negligence and premises liability.

According to the suit, Rawitz suffered injuries when she tripped and fell on the walkway of the defendants' property at 4952-4958 N. St. Louis Ave. in Chicago. She claims the entire span of the walkway was uneven, jagged, sloped and in disrepair, causing her to fall and sustain injuries.

Rawitz is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 and is being represented in the case by Chicago attorneys David Selig and Lance D. Northcutt of Sussman, Selig and Ross.
