Man sues over alleged attack at animal hospital in Skokie

A Cook County resident is suing a man he alleges hit him at an animal hospital.

Artem Cheprasov filed a lawsuit April 29 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Steven Tark, citing battery.

Cheprasov claims Tark repeatedly hit him in the head, face and body on Oct. 5 at or near the McCormick Animal Hospital, 8260 N. McCormick Blvd. in Skokie. He contends he suffered injuries as a result of the incident and is seeking more than $50,000 in damages.

The plaintiff is being represented by Alexander McHenry Memmen of The Memmen Law Firm LLC.
