The Chicago Transit Authority is being sued by a passenger who claims she was injured when the driver of a bus she was riding abruptly moved it forward while she was trying to exit.
Diana Turowski filed a lawsuit May 1 in the Cook County Circuit Court against the Chicago Transit Authority, citing negligence.
Turowski claims she was traveling on a bus in Chicago on May 10, 2013, when the bus driver jerked the bus forward causing her to fall and sustain injuries as she was attempting to exit.
Turowski is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 and any additional relief. She is being represented in the case by Chicago attorneys at the Law Office of Scott Bagnall.
