A Chicago resident is suing a chain of pizza restaurants, claiming its negligence led her to sustain injuries in a slip and fall a slip incident.
Julius Burrell Sr. filed a lawsuit April 30 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Aurelio's Pizza, citing negligence.
The complaint states Burrell was at Aurelio's Pizza at 18162 Harwood Ave. in Homewood on Jan. 20, when he slipped and fell on a slippery liquid substance. He claims as a result of his fall, he sustained serious injuries that required hospitalization.
Burrell is seeking more than $300,000 in damages and is being represented by Sammy W. Lacey Jr.
