A man is suing Comcast and his condo association, claiming he tripped on a cable left on the ground and sustained injuries.
Leonard Jablon Jr. filed a lawsuit May 14 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Comcast Corp., Comcast Cable Communications LLC, Comcast Cable Holdings LLC, McDonald Creek Condominium Association and A Plus Property Managers Inc., citing premises liability.
According to the complaint, Jablon was entering his residence on North River Road in the Village of Mount Prospect on July 26, 2012, when he tripped on a coaxial cable left on the ground by Comcast employees who were recently on the property for installation purposes.
The property is owned by McDonald Creek Condominium Association and maintained by A Plus Property Managers. Jablon accuses the defendants of negligence.
He is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorneys Mark L. Karno and Stephen G. Baime.
