A woman is suing over allegations she was struck by a car while she walking in the 2012 Chicago Gay Pride Parade.
Kimberly Turner filed a lawsuit May 23 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Associated Attractions Enterprises Inc., Willie Buckner Jr., Carr's Honda, D.B.C. Corporation and American Honda Motor Co. Inc., citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Turner was walking in the Chicago Gay Pride Parade on June 24, 2012, when she was struck by a Carr's Honda vehicle that Buckner of Associated Attractions Enterprises drove in the parade.
Turner is seeking more than $50,000 in damages. She is being represented in the case by attorney Michael E. Maher of Salvi & Maher LLC.
