A Cook County woman is suing McDonald's, claiming she sustained injuries after slipping on a wet floor of its Palos Heights restaurant.

Dena Kyriaz filed a lawsuit May 23 in the Cook County Circuit Court against S&K Management Co., Stanley and Kiki Stevens, McDonald's Store No. 03796 and McDonald's Corp., citing premises liability.

According to the complaint, Kyriaz was at the McDonald's restaurant owned by the defendants on Southwest Highway in Palos Hills on May 26, 2012, when she slipped on the recently mopped floor and fell.

She claims the defendants failed to notify customers of the dangerous condition.

Kyriaz is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorney A. Fredrick Chapekis of Chapekis, Marcus & Chapekis.
