A Cook County man is suing over claims he was injured by a couple's dog in Des Plaines.
Anthony Filichia filed a lawsuit May 16 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Isamar, Rafael and Maria Munguia.
According to the suit, Filichia was on a premises on South Second Avenue in Des Plaines on July 2, when the defendants' unleashed dog bit him. He accuses the defendants of negligence and violating the Illinois Animal Control Act.
Filichia is seeking more than $50,000 in damages. He is being represented in the case by attorney Robert B. Phillips IV of Robert B. Phillips & Associates LLC.
