A Cook County woman is suing the City of Chicago over her alleged trip and fall on a sidewalk.

Pamela Perovich filed a premises liability lawsuit May 19 in the Cook County Circuit Court against the city, claiming it failed to properly maintain one of its sidewalks.

According to the complaint, Perovich was on the sidewalk in the 3800 block of West 69th Place in Chicago on May 23, 2013, when she tripped on a hole or depression in the sidewalk and sustained injuries.

Perovich is seeking more than $30,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorney Corey E. Meyer of Law Offices of Meyer & Blumenshine.
