A grocery store chain is facing a lawsuit from a woman who claims she slipped and fell on its premises.
Patrinia Ann Gunby and Herman Gunby filed a lawsuit May 23 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Aldi Inc., Gallagher Bassett Services Inc. and unknown defendants.
According to the suit, Patrinia Gunby was at the Aldi on East 162nd Street in the Village of South Holland on May 27, 2012, when she slipped on a foreign substance and fell.
She also claims Gallagher, the insurance provider for Aldi, has failed to produce the video surveillance of her injury.
Gunby is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorney Calvita J. Frederick.
