Scales

A woman is suing after a driver she claims ran a red light and caused a collision that injured her.

Kimberly Knazzle filed a lawsuit last month in the Cook County Circuit Court against Dushura Pepper, alleging negligence.

Knazzle claims Pepper caused a car accident at Morgan and 76th streets in Chicago on May 1, 2012, when she failed to pay attention to the traffic and ran a red light. The suit states Knazzle suffered severe injuries as a result of the incident.

Knazzle is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Chicago attorney Eric M. Glasson of Eric M. Glasson & Associates.
