Slip on allegedly wet floor at CW Price spurs premises liability claim

A woman is suing over allegations she was injured when she fell on the slippery floor of a clothing store.

Iris Jimenez filed a lawsuit May 12 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Conway Two LLC, alleging premises liability.

According to the complaint, Jimenez was shopping at the defendant's store, CW Price, on South Cicero Street in Cicero on June 16, 2012, when she slipped on water on the floor. She accuses the defendant of failing to warn customers of the danger or properly maintaining its premises.

Jimenez is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorney Steven M. Gleason of Nilson, Stookal, Gleason & Caputo Ltd.
