A trucking company is being sued by one its drivers who claims he was injured making a delivery to O'Hare Airport.

Karim Farhan filed suit June 13 in Cook County Circuit Court against Azaz Trucking Inc., Ord Services Inc. and Central States Trucking Co.

According to the complaint, Farhan was working for the defendants as an operator on June 17, 2012, when he fell backward trying to use a damaged and/or defective door strap while delivering a load to O'Hare Airport.

He accuses the defendants of failing to properly maintain the truck, its doors, straps and/or handles so that they wouldn't become unfastened, loose or damaged, negligence the suit alleges caused Farhan's injuries.

Farhan is seeking damages in an amount to satisfy jurisdictional limits, plus costs, and is represented by Joliet attorney Frank S. Cservenyak Jr. of Rathburn, Cservenyak & Kozol.
