A woman is suing over claims she was injured on the wet floor of a restaurant.
Qiong Li filed a lawsuit June 13 in the Cook County Circuit Court against New Furama Inc., doing business as New Furama Restaurant, alleging premises liability.
According to the complaint, Li was entering New Furama Restaurant on South Wentworth Avenue in Chicago on Jan. 2, when she slipped on the wet marble floor and sustained injuries.
She accuses the defendant of failing to maintain the premises in a safe manner for customers.
Li is seeking up to $100,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorneys at Heller & Richmond Ltd. in Chicago.
