The Chicago Park District is facing a lawsuit over a slide at Columbus Park.
Kyna Stewart, individually and as mother and next of friend of her minor daughter, filed suit July 23 in Cook County Circuit Court against the Chicago Park District.
According to the complaint, Stewart's daughter was playing on a slide at Columbus Park, near Adams Boulevard and Menard Drive in Chicago, on July 23, 2013, when she fell and sustained injuries after reaching for a missing rail.
