A breach of contract suit has been filed against a Tinley Park company accused of failing to pay for delivered materials.
Arellano Flooring filed suit July 24 in Cook County Circuit Court against Mack Industries Ltd., doing business as Mack Companies, and James McClelland.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff sold and delivered flooring materials to the defendants on various dates that were accepted for purchase. Arellano, however, claims the defendants have failed to pay it for the materials and have an outstanding balance of $150,688, with interest costs of $2,291.04.
The plaintiff is seeking $152,979.04, plus costs and interest. It is represented by Chicago attorney Stephen W. Heil of Cray Huber Horstman Heil & VanAusdal LLC.
