A Chicago clothing store is facing a lawsuit from a woman who claims her son an asthma attack as a result of its use of pesticides.

On behalf of her minor son, Melissa Wilson filed a lawsuit July 29 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Forman Mills Inc.

According to the complaint, Wilson's son was at the defendant's store on South Damen Avenue on Sept. 8, when an employee sprayed pesticides in the doorway entrance, causing him to suffer a severe asthma attack.

The Wilsons are seeking more than $50,000 in damages and are being represented in the case by attorney Fred I. Benjamin of Benjamin and Shapiro Ltd. in Chicago.
