A woman is suing over claims she was injured when she slipped on ice in a parking lot in the Cook County suburbs.
Hwa Soon Chung filed suit Aug. 4 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Aargus Industries Inc., formerly known as Aargus Industries of Wheeling Inc., and Aargus Plastics Inc.
According to the complaint, Chung on Dec. 21, 2012 slipped on a layer of ice that formed in the parking lot of Aargus Industries' property on Allendale Drive in the Village of Wheeling after banks of snow melted and then re-froze.
Chung accuses the defendants of being negligence in failing to remove the ice.
She is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorney Richard M. Craig in Chicago.
