A man is suing over claims he was injured on the icy floor of a basement.
Kenny Brown filed a lawsuit Sept. 8 in Cook County Circuit Court against Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Deutsche Bank Trust Company America, HSBC Bank USA, Fremont Home Loan Trust and Fremont Investment and Loan.
According to the complaint, Brown was at a residential property owned by the defendantson South 58th Court in Cicero on Jan. 27, when he slipped on ice that apparently had accumulated on the basement floor and fell.
He accuses the defendants of failing to maintain the premises by letting the pipes freeze and leak water on the floor.
Brown seeks more than $30,000 in damages and is represented by attorney Scott A. Blumenshine of the Law Office of Meyer & Blumenshine in Chicago.
