A man is suing over claims he was injured on a construction site at O'Hare Airport.

George Rekounas filed a lawsuit Sept. 10 in Cook County Circuit Court against Walsh Construction of Chicago, citing negligence.

According to the complaint, Rekounas was driving a truck for his employer-- VCNA Prairie, also known as Votorantim Cement-- on a dirt and gravel road at a construction site managed by Walsh Construction at O'Hare Airport on July 24, 2013, when the truck hit a hole, causing him to sustain injuries.

He accuses the defendant of negligence in the construction and maintenance of the dirt and gravel road.

Rekounas is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is represented by attorney Charles Cannon of Mahoney Crowe & Goldrick in Chicago.
