A collision between to two city trains has led a man to file a lawsuit over injuries he allegedly sustained in the 2013 incident.

Michael Lyons filed a lawsuit Sept. 30 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Chicago Transit Authority.

According to the complaint, Lyons was a passenger on a Blue Line train on Sept. 30, 2013, when another train collided with the one carrying Lyons at the Harlem Station, causing him to be thrown across the car and sustain injuries.

He accuses the CTA of negligence and is seeking more than $50,000 in damages.
