A man is suing a truck driver, claiming he sustained injuries after his vehicle was hit by metal parts that flew off when the truck collided with an overpass on the highway.
Michael Ney filed a lawsuit Oct. 3 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Dean Gagliano, also known as Dean Alan Gagliano, and Dean Gagliano Trucking LLC.
According to the complaint, Gagliano was driving a flat bed trailer carrying a dump truck north on Interstate 94 in Chicago on Oct. 4, 2012, when the cargo struck an overpass and heavy metal parts flew off, striking Ney's vehicle.
Ney claims he was injured, and accuses the defendants of negligence. He is being represented in the case by attorneys at Pope & Jaburek P.C. in Chicago.
