Scales 150x150

The owner of an area chain of pizza restaurants is suing two telecommunications companies over claims they breached their contract.

Connie's Pizza Inc. filed a lawsuit Oct. 8 in Cook County Circuit Court against Call One Inc. and Illinois Bell Telephone Co.

According to the complaint, Connie's Pizza entered into a written agreement with the defendants for telecommunications services based on a proposal stating the costs of services and expected savings.

The plaintiff claims the defendants were to transition its service to a similar service, but instead they transitioned the plaintiff's numbers to remote call forward numbers, causing it to accrue usage charges in violation of their agreement.

Connie's Pizza is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is represented by JS Law in Chicago.
