Ronny's Steakhouse hit with claim over customer's chair collapse

A man is suing a Chicago steakhouse for injuries he claims he sustained when his chair broke.

Segundo Pineda filed suit in Cook County Circuit Court on Dec. 1 against 210 Eat Company, doing business as Ronny’s Original Steakhouse.

The claim states Pineda was dining at Ronny’s, located the James R. Thompson Center at Randolph and Lake streets, on Jan. 10, 2013, when his chair broke and he fell to the floor. He claims the chair was in a state of disrepair.

Pineda seeks damages in excess of $50,000, plus court fees, and is represented by attorney Cary J. Wintroub of Wintroub & Associates in Chicago.
