A Chicago repairman is suing a pair of homeowners, claiming he sustained injuries while working.
Lazaro Garcia filed the lawsuit Dec. 1 in Cook County Circuit Court against Laura Goetz and Dawn Briskey.
According to the claim, Garcia went to the defendants' Chicago home to perform service work on their heating system on Oct. 8., when he tripped and fell on clutter down the stairs to the basement and was injured.
Garcia seeks damages in excess of $50,000 plus court fees, and is represented by attorney Gary M. Feiereisel of Feiereisel & Kasbohm in Chicago.
