A St. Charles company that makes and distributes hot sauces, vinegar, giardiniera and spices is facing allegations it owes nearly $100,000 for plastic bottles.

Champion Packaging & Distribution Inc. filed suit Dec. 15, 2014, against Garden Row Foods Inc., alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, Champion created and delivered one-gallon, plastic bottles to Garden Row Foods between July and November 2014 that it had requested for the purpose of filling them with its vinegar products.

Champion, however, claims the defendant has yet to pay for these products and is suing to recoup the $99,064.87 it asserts is owed for the bottles.

The plaintiff company is represented by attorneys Thomas P. Cimino Jr. and Brian W. Ledebuhr of Vedder Price in Chicago.
