A man is suing the owners of a dog he claims attacked him in a Near North Side park.
Peter Harrison filed suit Jan. 27 against Stanley and Monique Friedman, the owners of a English Mastiff that apparently weighs more than 190 pounds.
According to the complaint, the Friedmans walked their dog to Washington Square Park at 1901 N. Clark St. on Nov. 10, when they let the dog of its lease and it without provocation mauled Harrison.
He claims the incident left with with severe lacerations on his face, neck and arms, as well as disfigurement. He is represented by René A. Torrado Jr. of Corboy & Demetrio.
