A Tinley Park pizza restaurant faces a premises liability lawsuit after a patron allegedly tripped and fell on the restaurant's sidewalk.
Della Heidelberg filed a lawsuit Jan. 21 in Cook County Circuit Court against Boston's The Gourmet Pizza Restaurant & Sports Bar.
According to the complaint, Heidelberg was walking along black landscaping edging that was broken and extending into the walking path after having dinner at Boston's on April 6, 2013, when her foot became caught on the broken edge, causing her to trip and fall.
Heidelberg accuses the defendant of failing to take proper care of the landscaping on the property and neglecting the care that would keep patrons safe.
She seeks damages in excess of $30,000 and the cost of the lawsuit. Heidelberg is represented by attorney Gavin Pearlman of Briskman Briskman & Greenberg of Chicago.
