A woman is suing the owner of a dog she claims attacked her child.
Kenyatta Mullins and her child filed a lawsuit Feb. 17 in Cook County Circuit Court against Lois Troutman Miller, also known as Lois J. Miller.
According to the complaint, Miller’s dog, without provocation, attacked Mullins' child on Dec. 14, 2013 in the 14oo block of South St. Louis Avenue in Chicago.
The plaintiffs seek unspecified damages for pain, suffering and disability. The family is represented by attorney Alan H. Bender of Goldstein, Bender & Romanoff in Chicago.
