Patron's slip lands Oak Lawn bowling alley in court

The owner of an Oak Lawn bowling alley is facing a lawsuit from a man who claims he slipped on oil on the floor near the bowling lanes.

Frank Hudley sued Arena Bowl-A-Rama Inc. March 10 in the Cook County Circuit Court.

According to the complaint, Hudley was at the defendant's bowling alley at 4700 W. 103rd Street on April 6, 2013, when he slipped on oil on the floor near the lanes, causing him to fall and sustain injuries to his head, body and limbs.

Hudley accuses the defendant of carelessly and negligently operating, managing, maintaining and controlling its premises by allowing oil to be on the floor, creating a hazard to its patrons.
