The administrator of the estate of a deceased Cook County man is suing Adventist Health System over claims of medical malpractice.

Judith Glockler, as administrator of the deceased Christian Glockler, filed a lawsuit March 11 in Cook County Circuit Court against Adventist Midwest Health, Adventist Health Partners, Inc., Adventist Health System and Sunbelt Healthcare Corp., doing business as Adventist Health System citing negligence in the death of Christian Glockler.

According to the lawsuit, Glockler came under the care of Adventist Health System in January 2013, and during the ensuing months before his death on March 15, 2013, the facility and its doctors were negligent in failing to diagnose and/or treat his angina.

The plaintiff seeks unspecified damages in excess of $50,000, plus costs.

The plaintiff is represented by Amanda Brasfield of Kralovec, Jambois and Schwartz of Chicago.

Cook County Circuit Court case number 15-L-2500.
