The estate of a woman is suing all those party to an accident on Halsted Street in Homewood that allegedly led to the woman's death four months later.
According to a lawsuit filed March 19 in Cook County Circuit Court, Timothy Urtz, administrator of the estate of Karyn Urtz, is suing the driver of the vehicle in which Urtz was riding on Dec. 19, 2013, Beth Block; the driver of the other vehicle, Collier Martin; as well as the businesses Aatish Management LLC, doing business as Super 8 - East Hazel Crest, and Sunny Hospitality.
Urtz seeks damages in excess of $250,000, plus costs.
Urtz is represented by Scott B. Wolfman, of the Law Offices of Scott B. Wolfman and Associates of Chicago.
