Girl, parents sue owners of dog that attacked girl outside her residence

A Cook County girl and her parents are suing the owners of a dog that attacked the girl outside her residence in 2008.

According to a lawsuit filed March 16 in Cook County Circuit Court, Angelica Cartell and her parents, Richard and Carolyn Cartell, are suing Charles and Tracy Bober for injuries and suffering associated with the Bobers' dog allegedly attacking Angelica on June 16, 2008, outside 11450 S. Sawyer Ave., Chicago.

The Cartells seek in excess of $200,000 in damages, plus costs.

The plaintiffs are represented by Gregory Olmstead of the Deratany Firm of Chicago.

Cook County Circuit Court case number 15-L-2736.
