Sign maker alleges Wilkes-Barre used car dealer didn't pay for its signs

A Chicago sign making business has sued a Pennsylvania used car lot, alleging failure to pay for its new signs.

Corporate Identification Solutions Inc., at 5563 Elston Ave., Chicago, filed a lawsuit May 1 in Cook County Circuit Court, against Miracle Motors Inc., of Emmaus, Pa., citing breach of contract.

According to the complaint, Miracle Motors has refused to pay for goods and services provided by Corporate Identification Solutions.

The suit says the defendant, which operates J.D. Byrider at 2140 Sans Souci Highway, Wilkes-Barre, Pa., contracted with the plaintiff in October 2013 to supply exterior signs.

After the signs were delivered, Feb. 28, 2014, the suit states, the plaintiff sent its customer an invoice, but it has yet to be paid.

Corporate Identification Solutions seeks the invoice amount of $48,612, plus damages, pre-judgment interest and costs. It is represented by attorneys Michael J. Grant and Ashley Crettol Insalaco, of Tabet, DiVito & Rothstein in Chicago.
