A Chicago healthcare supply manufacturer has sued a plastics company, alleging breach of contract.
LSL Industries Inc., doing business as LSL Healthcare Inc., of Chicago, filed suit May 5 in Cook County Circuit Court against Alpha Plastics Solutions Inc., of Muskego, Wis.
According to the complaint, LSL, which manufactures and sells medical products and supplies, forwarded several purchase orders to Alpha Plastics from Jan. 21-May 28, 2014. Alpha then promised to produce a range of products. LSL provided several molds, the lawsuit states, which LSL desired Alpha to return after manufacturing was completed.
When LSL received the products, they "did not satisfy the terms of the purchase orders or LSL's" standards, the lawsuit states.
The plaintiff cites breach of contract, breach of implied warranty of merchantability and conversion.
LSL Industries seeks $150,000, plus costs. It is represented by attorneys Howard B. Randell and Edward D. Mizera, of Leahy, Eisenberg and Fraenkel in Chicago.
